These replacement papers are designed by Aerobie for the AeroPress. The filters ensure a clean and full bodied cup of coffee. You can get metal filters but we much prefer the cleaner, lighter bodied cup of coffee you get with the paper filters.
Brewing tip: pre-wet the filter to eliminate any papery taste in the coffee
