Fran started Moon Roast back in 2012, following a long family heritage in the trade. What began as roasting coffee in his garden shed after work quickly grew, people loved the coffee, and Moon Roast was born.

Judy oversees everything at Moon Roast alongside Fran and Jo. She manages accounts and finance queries, and helps keep the roastery running smoothly behind the scenes.

Jo looks after all our customers and wholesale partners, building long-term relationships and supporting them day to day. He's always the go-to man whenever there's a problem with equipment or machines.

Dan joined Moon Roast in 2017 as our very first employee. Most of his days are spent behind our roasters the Loring S35 and Probat P25 making sure everything tastes as it should.

Kels works very closely with our partners, supporting teams through training, guidance and ongoing conversations about coffee. Often out and about visiting customers and making sure everything's running smoothly.

Training and Advocacy Manager
jimbo
Jimbo is all things QC, he tastes constantly, keeping a close eye on quality across the board. If there is anything not quite right, he'll find it. He often runs the local delivery every Friday, so he is a very familiar face to our locals, he is also the fastest bag and box packer in England.

Quality Control Manager
James (Meaks)
Usually the first to start work at the Roastery each morning, Meaks looks after all things operations. He oversees dispatch, keeps everything organised, and has a keen eye for merchandising the kiosk shop. He also steps on the roasters, alternating weeks with Dan.

Samantha is often the first point of contact for all our customers. From running all the website orders, to all wholesale orders and enquiries, she keeps everything organised and makes sure all questions are answered.

Clementine looks after all things marketing at Moon Roast, from the website and branding to social media and newsletters. Usually found with a camera in hand, she helps share what Moon Roast looks like day to day, both in and out of the Roastery.

Ben plays an integral role in Moon Roast. He has a strong eye for detail and a genuine care for quality, making everything run smoothly behind the scenes. Known for his friendly approach and positive attitude, he keeps both the team and our customers happy, always bringing a welcoming presence to the kiosk.
