Podback provides two straightforward ways to recycle your used coffee pods:

1. Kerbside Collection: In participating local councils, you can request a free Podback recycling bag. Once filled with used pods, simply leave it out with your usual household recycling.

2. Drop-off Points: If kerbside collection isn’t available in your area, you can take your used pods to a nearby Collect+ drop-off point. Just request a Podback recycling bag from us, fill it with your used pods, and drop it off at a convenient location.

3. Supermarket Collection Points: Podback is supported by several supermarkets including Morrisons, Aldi, and Costa Coffee. Morrisons offers free recycling bags and collection bins, Aldi allows recycling of own-label pods, and Costa provides bags and collection points at select locations.

Podback ensures that both plastic and aluminium coffee pods are recycled responsibly. By recycling your pods, you’re contributing to the creation of new products such as drink cans, car parts, and even new coffee pods. The used coffee grounds are also repurposed to produce biogas and soil fertiliser, so nothing goes to waste.
