Our ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of previous experience. Reporting to the founders and based in Hampshire you will work directly within a small & dynamic team to support all online marketing endeavours and enhance the company’s user acquisition and engagement. You are one-part SEO writer, one-part social media expert to grow the company’s digital presence whilst supporting off line activity and sales channels.


• Digitally native and a whiz on social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

• Confident in producing engaging social media content for reels, stories and posts.

• Creating engaging written content and implementing strategic syndication across all key social channels

• Daily interaction with our Moon Roast community on social media platforms to grow engagement and  following.

• Manage the marketing budget. Ensuring all marketing costs are tracked appropriately.

• Find, recommend and leverage unrealised, out-of-the-box techniques and to grow Moon Roasts user base.

• Monitoring of performance indicators such as impressions, clicks, views etc.

• Create and maintain regular reporting including user analysis, performance tracking, forecasting, etc.

• Writing regular blog posts based on research and relevance to Moon Roast.

• Developing newsletter campaigns using MailChimp/Klaviyo to drive sales and engagement.

• Identifying user growth partnerships and supporting relevant off-line activities.

• Managing and implementing website updates including new product launches, text and creative updates.

• Managing external agencies including paid social media, ad hoc web development and designers.

• Complete a monthly competitor analysis.

• Supporting any ad hoc off-line marketing activities when required.


• 3-5 years of experience working in Social Media/digital marketing on a professional level.

• Creative skills- such as video editing skills e.g Canva, Adobe or similar.

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Media, Communications or similar.

• A genuine love for using social media and creating content.

• Confident on and off camera.

• Excellent creative writing and communication skills with experience in SEO writing.

• Digital Agency management.

• Understanding of ads manager & paid social platforms.

• General excitement to learn new skills and stay on top of trends.

• Strong intuition for marketing and consumer behaviour.

• A sensitivity when communicating with different audiences.

• Understanding the difference between representing a brand vs. representing oneself on social media.

• Ability to “live” a brand and to adapt to and build on an existing style.

• Highly organised and time-sensitive working abilities.

• A sense of accountability and to be able to move initiatives forward with little guidance.

• Attention to detail, multitasking and coping with varied task load effectively.

• Food and drink industry experience preferred.
