A: There’s iced coffee and then there’s Kels advanced specialty iced americano. Using espresso and a filtering technique, this recipe gives you a clean, refreshing drink with a smooth finish that’s perfect for summer days.
Q: What do I need to make it at home?
A: Just a few simple ingredients and tools:
- Cold water
- Ice
- A V60 dripper + filters
- 2 x double shots of espresso
Q: How do I make it?
A: Follow these easy steps:
- Brew 2 x double shots of espresso.
- Fill a glass with cold water and ice. Position V60 on top of glass.
- Pour the espresso through the V60 filter for 30–60 seconds. Note not all the espresso will filter through.
- The process filters out oils and tannins, leaving you with a crisp, smooth iced black americano that’s a cut above your standard brew.
