At the heart of this blend is the Tanzanian Iyenga Cooperative, a collaboration of 292 smallholders located in the southern highlands.
These farmers, working at altitudes of 1,600 to 1,671 metres, have earned a reputation for their meticulous methods. Their beans are fully washed and sun-dried, producing a coffee that bursts with vibrant, fruity acidity and a complexity that captivates. With the support of Taylor Winch, the cooperative has transformed its facilities, allowing it to elevate quality even further. These beans contribute to the lively, fruit-forward character of the blend—a perfect companion for those who enjoy brighter, more complex coffees.
Panama Finca Hartmann: A Sweet and Balanced Finish
Complementing the Tanzanian beans are those from Panama's Finca Hartmann, a family-run estate that embodies a dedication to conservation and quality.
The Hartmann family grows coffee beneath native rainforest trees, preserving the natural environment while producing exceptional beans. These Pacamara beans, grown at elevations between 1,250 and 1,600 metres, bring tropical fruit sweetness and floral delicacy to the blend.
